The Softail models were assembled using a more rigid Frame: design, and the new Deuce also had the latest chassis. The 34percent bump in stiffness provided better handling in the Deuce, along with an elongated fuel tank and a straight-line rear fender. A spoke front wheel was joined by a solid rear hoop, while a chrome version of the fathead motor delivered the power. The solid rear wheel was contrasted by the lace unit used up front, and the straight lines of the rear fender delivered a new style to the Deuce.
